C & I Homogenizing (Pty) Ltd T(rading) A(s) Kemfied Homogenizing was founded by the late Mr. Helmut Ernst Kempkes in 1979. Mr. Helmut Ernst Kempkes emigrated from Düsseldorf, Germany to South Africa establishing his roots in the Vereeniging industrial community.
Mr. Helmut Ernst Kempkes was a well known, highly respected and qualified member in the engineering industry that established business partners locally and internationally. Later in the development of the business Mr. Kempkes was joined by his two (2) sons Christian and Ingo hence the company registered name C & I.
In the passing of Mr. Helmut Ernst Kempkes and his son Christian, his youngest son Mr. Ingo Kempkes took over the reins of the company and has continued stead fast in the footsteps of his predecessors. The company products including Kemfied High Pressure Pumps; Homogenizing Pumps and Specialized tailor made Gearboxes.
In addition the company is highly respected for its diverse general engineering capability.
